Spring Cycle

This piece is meant to represent the transition from winter to spring. While playing it, there should be a slow increase in confidence (as well as the number of instruments), as winter gets nearer to spring. Imagine grass suddenly sprouting through snow for the first time in months, and leaves beginning to grow on trees. By the end of the piece there should be no more "snow". This song is based off of a song that I made recently, which I then made into a piece for piano, alto and drum set.
