https://soundcloud.com/finesden/flat-procrastinating-perfectionist-piano-solo-1 I tried my best to perfect it, despite all of the procrastinating. It isn't easy being a procrastinating perfectionist, but it is the case for many composers. A composer has a creative mind, and creative minds tend to wander, which leads them to procrastinate. But a composer also wants their piece to be perfect, which adds a lot of time to the duration of their work's creation. In other words, it isn't easy, but it gets the job done.
I am relatively proud of this piece, and I hold it up to the same level as my other favourite piano solo, Imagination Endures. It follows a similar style, but I worked on giving this one more flow and diversity while maintaining a general theme. I also used the concert piano for this piece, and that's something that doesn't really work for Imagination Endures.
I want to thank everyone at BC's discord server for their support, and especially
@yoni for supporting this piece.
I hope you all enjoy this piece and I hope to enjoy your pieces too!
Note from 2023:
I want to thank the flat community for liking this score so much and I want everyone to know that it really brings me joy whenever someone says this inspired them to make music. So keep making music!
