Holy God (Trisagion)

I have set a familiar text to my own melody, following the repetitive structure this text would follow in the Divine Liturgy served on Sunday mornings. Normally, the melody is written only once and simply repeated. I have tried to vary the texture and chord voicings/inversions each time so that it is not merely repeating the same thing 4 and a half times. In the middle section (Glory to Father...Both now and ever...), this is normally sung quickly on a single chord, but I have made a rhythm and melody to highlight the text more clearly. The lower bass octave is optional, depending on the range of the choir, but I think it adds a dramatic effect in the later parts of the composition.
