MAPS

A project I've been wanting to do for a while was to compose a choral piece because I'm in a choir and wanted to use my knowledge of previous music into a composition. I was inspired by poet Christopher Poindexter from his poem called MAPS where he is calling out to someone that he is theirs using different metaphors to emphasize his feelings. This was a fun choral piece to write and I hope who ever listens to this piece enjoys it as much as I did.
