Il y a du réconfort dans la douleur

I composed this for an assignment in choir during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a very limited composition. I tried for as little movement as slowly as possible. This piece is composed of very close harmony. At most times only one note is moving per-measure in only one voice. As a wind player/ vocalist I do not know the difficulty of the piece. If done right the clashing of the notes should create some sort of rhythmic drive as you hear the pulsing. This is my 5th composition and the only one I have made public.
