Finding Light in the Darkness

I started this piece a few days ago, and it has grown to be my favorite piece so far, even more than waves of hope. I came up with the main bassline and the beginning of the melody in my piano, but the rest of the song was written on flat. This may seem like a dark song at first, but if you listen to it over and over like I have, you start to hear the hope really shining though. So, I hope you're able to hear the light in this song to lift your spirits about the darkness going on around us.

P.S. I know I haven't written a song for my fairy tale in a while, but I'm sorta stuck on music to match the story I have in mind. Don't worry though, I definitely have not given up on it.
