I literally wrote this in two hours but I hope its good. So my past two songs have been orchestral stuff but I wrote this for piano because I want to get better at doing a lot with a little so I can do a lot with a lot when I write for orchestra so it will probably be another 3 weeks before I write an orchestral piece because I have a lot to work on with my technical skill as a composer. Anyways. About the song. Its a piano solo, I came up with the bassline first and I thought it was really pretty so I thought about what instruments I could think of playing it, and I could only see a piano playing it in my head. So I wrote this for a piano solo.
Now this is what I want you to imagine in your head when You listen if your read descriptions. There is a bright full moon and its casting shadows around the tree grove you are in with your dying best friend. He is laying on the earthy floor and his head is in your lap. He is taking his final breaths as he closes his eyes to fall into the darkness. He tries to say something but you hush him and a single warm tear rolls down your cheek. He closes his eyes and a ghost of smile haunts his lips as he accepts death's warm embrace.
Thank you for listening. If you enjoyed this leave a like and follow me if you arent already. Please leave feedback in the comments
