Windowsill Bird

I received inspiration for this song when a bird got stuck in our house. It wouldn't leave this one window (one that doesn't open unfortunately), but kept pressing against the glass. We called it stupid for staying there because the window was clearly solid, and there were several other windows and an open door nearby that it could have tried. However, humans can do the same thing when they refuse to move away from a viewpoint or idea even when it seems obvious to others that it isn't right. I started to think about that, and I decided to write a song about it. And I'm pleased with how it turned out! (And we got the bird back outside with two butterfly nets, in case you were wondering:)
