Prelude in Quarantine
It's taken a while to complete this notation, although I had composed most of it before I started notating it. It is evoked by the personal struggles and challenges I have faced during the pandemic, especially due to the pandemic, which have easily made 2020 the worst year of my life.
This prelude focuses on a 9-note motif and develops it, almost obsessively. It is somewhat of a new style for me personally. The tremolos in the left hand near the ending should be played alternating between the two notes in the octave instead of repeating the octave as the Flat playback does.
This prelude is not the last quarantine piece I will publish, but the second-to-last. I wanted to publish the last piece after the pandemic was over, but no such time is in sight.
