Etude for Strings No. 2 in A Minor

This piece grows and recedes. It starts with a cello and a contrabass and adds an instrument every two measures. Violins are added as this happens, increasing the registry along with the complexity. After the peak passes, two instruments are taken away every two measures until a single contrabass is left.
