Soup-rice. Or should I say soup flavored rice (thanks Earth and Modal for solving the existential crisis from 2 months ago).
So, if you haven't heard, "Red :: The Legend" has reached a milestone I thought impossible... 1000 views. Yes... it took a little begging towards the end, but that's because I wanted to stop "Persona of Espionage" from taking 1000 views first.
So, as a thank you to everyone who enjoyed this piece (and I'm being serious, "THANK YOU!!!"), and helped me reach this milestone, you deserve a little reprise of yours truly in the onion-cutting key signature Eb Major.
I... will be open and honest here... I don't feel like "I" created this piece. I mean... look at it. It seems... too perfect. You know what I mean? Hell, I might be just downplaying my pieces, which I do often anyways. But I might've had a little blessing from the Legend himself during this little reprise... who knows. Regardless, I actually cry to this, especially the lyrics I just fumbled together in like 15 minutes. It really adds a layer to Red of whether his life is not just complete, but memorable to the lives he's changed. The music itself has a very nostalgic and bittersweet vibe, while holding the roots of the cinematic genre I am so apparently talented at. The ending itself I feel is very haunting, but adds a closure that I don't want to say goodbye to.
Oh? No. Otherworld music isn't going away, but it's taking a break for the rest of this year. But when it's back, it WILL be back as beautiful and tear-jerking this is, while maintaining the roots of the... "RedProductions" vibe (For a lack of a better term).
This time, there WILL be 12 total in the Otherworld OG series, 6 in the Reboot series... and an undetermined amount in the Post-Red Series. So start building that hype! (So it dies by December so I can skyrocket it when the first piece comes out).
