この曲は、MAGDALENA 第4期のライヴで演奏していたオリジナル曲です。
シュトルムの短編小説『みずうみ』のヒロイン、エリザベートの心情を音楽で描きました。

今回のYouTube公開にあたって、アレンジを細部まで見直しました。
とくにイントロからの半音階で下降する和音進行には、僕の“マニア魂”が炸裂しています。😙
その下降するベースラインのモチーフを変奏しながら全体に配置し、曲に整合性と一貫した雰囲気を持たせています。

MAGDALENA – Phase 4

This song is an original piece that was performed during live shows in Phase 4 of MAGDALENA.
It expresses the emotions of Elisabeth, the heroine of Storm’s short story The Lake, through music.

For this YouTube release, I revisited the arrangement in detail.
In particular, the chromatic descending chord progression from the intro showcases my “music geek” spirit in full force. 😙
By varying and distributing the motif of the descending bass line throughout the piece, I aimed to give the song both coherence and a consistent atmosphere.
