Hey guys, this is my attempt at composing/producing a horror game ending theme (Near the ending before credits roll)
(Oh yeah, PLEASE WEAR HEADPHONES FOR THE FULL/BEST EXPERIENCE.)
The title came from someone who suggested "Reminiscent" but I switched up the letter "A" with "E" so it's more recognisable (and sounds the same to). The other meaning is that I wanted this piece to hit/ram (strike) with several huge emotions throughout the piece, something that I probably never achieved up till now.
Personally, I'm super proud of this piece because it's not complicated like the other pieces (not much syncopation, not too many instruments) but still delivers the intended blow that I wished. Probably first time I said this, but the Art used in the video seems almost too perfect for this piece (Luck 100 I guess...) Another thing is that the some parts focus on aerial sounding. (so wearing headphones are the best)
Lastly, like I said in my previous score, this was inspired by a specific horror game I watched/played during the composing period.
Gameplay on ManlyBadassHero's channel [Mother]:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPpsjz_EUFM&t=922s This game's ending made me cry twice (not because it's scary, and no spoilers so don't worry). First was after the final boss and a second time at the final scene. which truly shows what motherhood was like. Funny thing, growing up in an Asian household, I never had my parents show me love and affection like the game's ending does, so it hit me extremely hard. Plus the gore and loneliness at the end is just... scary. Thus, this lines up well with the emotions that I intend to show in this piece, but not even I know if I got the true emotions through, or that I can describe it.
Anyways, for any horror game makers who need a track and would like to use this, feel free to contact me.
Hope you guys enjoy!
