Resistance

Hello. Welcome to 2021.

So if you don't know my style well (since I haven't posted in like a month), this would be a different sort of post by me, which is a piano solo NOT RELATED to any sort of story or cinematography. 9/8 time signature, a dissonant and chromatic feel, and it feels all over the place, and sometimes just not "resolved", hence the name "Resistance". Not a usual style, but one I liked messing around with for the last few weeks, and voila - here it is!

Anyway, I would like to announce that very soon, a cinematic piece between me and @aa66ff will be published, along with much, much more. It will also be for Josh's competition. We have learned, however, that we won't be winning the competition. There are multiple entries which pushed boundaries that simply isn't in the score. And I will admit, they are REALLY good scores that define what you need to do: make an original score and a story that goes along with the score. However, what we don't have in originality and technicality, we instead prepared the big guns of storytelling, emotion, and perhaps a narrator?
