Acceleration

Hey everyone! I think this is my first post of 2021 and I am really happy that it gets to be this one! I entered into a competition hosted by Bluemoon (@everyone) where the whole goal of it was to give some upcoming composers time in the spotlight. Now I know that I'm not an insanely popular creator on here but I wanted to try and give as much exposure as I could. There are a l o t of underrated composers on here so it was hard to choose just one but when I heard this piece that was shared in the flat discord I just knew that I could make something epic with it. The original composer, Dakohdah, is an amazing composer and y'all should definitely check them out. Their music is great.
"Acceleration" was originally a piano solo and it sounded absolutely amazing but I knew that I could take it to another level by arranging it for concert band. So, with the permission of Dakohdah, I copied their score and started to compose. Surprisingly, I finished this in only about a month which is pretty insane considering how I never finish concert band pieces lol. I really like how it turned out, especially because I don't think I've ever written anything like this before. Anyways, I don't want this to get too long so I think I'm going to cut it off here.
