First off, I know some of you may be confused. How does this already have views and likes? Well, it's a republish. I wrote this piece a few months ago for the first round of Micah's competition (The final round Piano battle is coming soon), and lots of people, including myself, seemed to really like it. Problem was, it was just a piano solo and it was under 90 seconds long. So, I though, maybe I'll make a longer orchestrated version later. After forgetting about it, two weeks ago I came across it in my profile, and decided that I should do that now. So, I started on it. I added the cello and bass immediately, because I knew those instruments fit the song great, but the distortion guitar was just an instrument I randomly decided to try later on. So, after about a week, I added those three instruments to the original song, and added the second half of the ending part. Then I did a key change into my favorite section. After that, I wanted to do a completely original section, but I struggled to write anything in that genre. Then, yesterday, I came up with a cool chord progression and had a spurt of inspiration, so I made the original section, then reverted back to the beginning part in the new key to end it. Anyways, I hope you like it, and sorry for the long description. Also happy April Fools day P.S. I'd suggest you listen to the flat playback, because the soundcloud audio is kinda messed up in some spots, but if you can't load it then that's fine.
