Unusual Time Signatures
Hi everyone,
Hajime Sano, Chase t Van Benschoten, guess who I am, and myself are hosting a competition! The theme is 'unusual time signatures'. This means you can't use the time signatures 4/4, 3/4, 2/2, 6/8, and 2/4; however, mixed metres and short switches using these ARE allowed. If the piece you enter has the beat pattern of any of the listed time signatures but labelled under an unusual one, this will not count. Winner gets tagged by the hosts and their piece will be shown separately (unless anyone makes a good suggestion for awards). Make sure you tag all of us in your piece and clarify that it's for the competition. It starts today and ends on the 28th CST. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with :)
