Battle of the Mind

I wrote this two years ago.

My idea was to write a "piano battle" while imitating a bunch of other composers' styles--way back in 2021. It ended up more transitioning from genre to genre rather than having two different styles on the different pianos (I did pull off the different pianos idea later though: https://flat.io/score/6270a9d593e63600136b2e38-archetypes) But I never got around to publishing this for whatever reason.

This is really fun to publish now though, because I'm realizing I actually write quite differently now, with different styles and some different strengths. I cleaned this up a bit just now, but largely left it the same as I found it.

Furthermore, I'd say the general music on Flat has also changed quite a bit, so it's fun for me to look back on something I wrote to imitate certain composers and styles I saw a lot (maybe you can guess some of my inspirations).

Also it just sounds cool. So hope you enjoy:)
