The Spring Winds Know The Bitterness of Parting

Hello everyone,
Due to this being my last year of high school and also the rigorous examination period in my friend's country, we've been strapped for composing time these past few months. Thankfully, that has now changed for us! WSMA time is drawing ever nigh (as well as composition homework), which means I get to spend class time on flat helping my classmates! @chase_t_van_benschoten and I share a class which is really quite fortunate.

Anyways, apparently the name of this piece was taken from an ancient Chinese proverb which I, for one, think sounds gorgeous. If you want Chinese orchestra recommendations, I suggest "Decree of the Sichuan General". My absolute favorite.
