Hiiii Everyone!
As you may know, there was an eclipse that was visible yesterday at 4:00am EST in the Northern Hemisphere and one of the longest lasting eclipses in many years! If you didn't get to see it, you should definitely look up pictures of it. :) The thumbnail picture was one from yesterday morning.
Now some background on the piece, this was my first piece for a full band and I wrote it in March inspired by an eclipse earlier in the year. I couldn't publish at the time but I think now is the perfect time since there was just a lunar eclipse!
The sheet music can be found here since I created two versions, one for listening, and one for reading so the percussion parts could be written easier. The only thing is, if you wish to view the music version, it will not sound exactly the same and the percussion parts are a little off on both including how the suspended cymbal and timpani parts were written, I did not know how to write those parts at the time but I may end up updating it. Here is the version so far if anyone wanted to print it out.
