The Laendler

The Laendler is a type of waltz that was popular in Alpine Austria during WWII era. It was also a dance used in the musical Sound of Music. The music used (actually titled: "The Laendler") is a waltz-y rendition of "The Lonely Goatherd" from the same musical. I learned this dance, I can play viola, why not combine the two and make a string quintet arrangement.
