Hey, everyone! Many of you were waiting for this moment, and it is finally here, folks! This is my 80-follower special, and it is my first string quartet! A little history is that I began writing this quartet a few months ago, and I put it aside as I worked on other compositions. About a month ago, I decided this string quartet would be for my 80-follower special, and I would work on it and finish it!
I would love to thank all my wonderful friends for helping and inspiring me on my journey, and giving me advice to become a better composer and story teller. All of you mean the world to me, and I'm so happy to be in the Flat Community, and posting this score! I hope you all enjoy!
Note: I will post the fourh movement on a seperate score just in case if it doesn't work on this score.
This composition is in the style of the Romantic Era, and I decided to base this composition on Felix Mendelssohn's String Quartet No. 6 in F minor, Op. 80. I tried conveying emotions of furious passione, and many types of feelings, such as agitation, calmness, and expressive behavoir. I like to think of this song as a cycle of an angry person, but having moments of love, passion, and calmness in it. I see this piece as someone handling a breakup, where the other mate cheats on him or her. The person who got cheated on is super upset, and they are angry, passionate, and what to say all sorts of things. However, in that midst of choas, there is a calmness and longing for love that is unlocked in that person's brain, because they truly want to be loved. I would love to hear what you guys think about this piece, and I'm so excited to post this! Any feedback would be highly appreciated!
This piece is 29 minutes and 20ish seconds, and it's super long! I will promise an 100-follower special, and it will be lovely! All of you mean the world to me, and I'm super happy to be in this community! Have a wonderful and blessed day, everyone, and sweet dreams!
