Hello! Long time I know, I know, a whole week compared to the usual months, but anyway, I finally finished this piece that I've been working on for a long time now, almost a year. While this piece is obviously storm based, especially Thunder and Lightning, with the gongs as Lightning and the drums as Thunder, this piece actually started with the intention of depicting war. Oncoming Storm was originally named "March to War," which it still depicts, as noted by my attempts at imitating the sound of soldiers' feet marching (inspired by Hyrule Castle from Breath of the Wild). Thunder and Lightning was originally named "Into Battle," and depicted the clashing of blades, represented by the gongs, and the smashing of feet running on stone, represented by the pounding percussion. The legato bits are used to show how there can still be beauty and calm in war. (I should note that Thunder and Lightning was heavily inspired by Roar of Dominion from Fire Emblem Three Houses, and then later by Divine Beast Vah Medoh Looms from Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity) I very much doubt this is playable, but I had an absolute blast composing it, and I hope you enjoy listening. Have a wonderful day :)
Sorry for the repub, but I have 2 reasons: 1) I felt like this didn't get the attention it deserved, not to be supercilious 2) recieved a recommendation to add some subtle reverb, so I have
