Life Update:
I just turned 17 :)
I also finished both Interlochen and Jazz Camp last week (sometimes I get the feeling that jazz fans are the most likely of any genre to have joined for the music theory and not entirely for the music itself. Make of that what you will).
A few months ago I wrote about my plans to join the military. Well, I recently spoke to my local Navy recruiter and took the ASVAB screener. Fortunately, I got an 84, which qualifies me for every job (including nuclear disposal, apparently), however I will still apply for the linguist position. I can (mostly) read Devanagari and Arabic, so I think they'll let me choose my language. Life has been kind to me, and I pray that it's good for you all, too. Thanks for listening!
