Follow Him

Hey Guys. I haven’t published in a while, but school and all that. Anyways, this song is first of all not the best. I know, but I’m publishing it because of the meaning behind it, not the music. Who knows, maybe the lyrics will sound good to one person, but not the music, and they change it to be amazing(please ask before you do that though, and mention me XD. ). So I had this amazing opportunity to go on a band trip with my school, specifically to DisneyWorld, Orlando, FL(I live in MN). I like music very much, so I really wanted to go. Even the cost was worked out, because if I got a scholarship, then raised enough money in a fundraiser, I could get by without having to pay anything. However, my parents said no, because(sorry for all you living in Florida, but its true) “Covid stuff is too high there”. As you could probably guess, I was very disappointed. It felt like life was just giving me a present, then finding out it was a pack of underwear(that’s the worst, right??). But in Matthew 7:7-8, it says, “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Sure, it says “ask and you will receive”, but it doesn’t mean that you will get what you want. God will provide you something, but you have to believe in Him that he will give you what you NEED, rather than want. I don’t know what I need, but it is obviously not this trip. Though I am very disappointed, I know that God has a plan for me, and it is “very good”.
