Restlessness
Piano is chill bros
So I improvised the main melody of this piece maybe (a week ago?), and I thought it sounded cool. I didn't actually write it down though, because I have limited space in flat and I only want to write pieces I know I'll like. So I kind of have a million other melodies that I have played, but I just don't write them down cause I don't feel like it.
I started writing this wanting to make battle music, because I don't really have a piece that has that battle vibe to it, (unless you count Dance of The Swords but I don't really think that has an edgy battle sound to it). And I wrote the piece thinking of music from Gladiator, Dunkirk, and every EPIC LEGENDARY PURE AMAZING AWESOME INSPIRING BATTLE MUSIC 10 HOURS I found on YouTube. I think I did that decently, and then I wanted to be qUiRkY so I replaced the basic eighth note chords with a weird counter melody on the left hand, and because of that the battle aspect was kind of lost a bit.
Though, it did create a kind of suspense and almost unfinished vibe to the piece. For the sake of my Alpha reputation I'll just say it was on purpose. Peace.
