VOICE REVEAL YAHOO?
so yeah voice reveal. Sorry the audio and the singing aren't the best; I have a constant cough thanks to my asthma that makes thing like this a bit tricky, especially after like 40 minutes of practicing lol. Also falsetto is not my best register but oh well. This song is from the amazing game Hades btw.
Ah, Orpheus. Such a sorrowful tale. As the myth goes, the nymph he was in love with, Eurydice, died from a snake bite. Refusing to accept her death, Orpheus pulled out his lyre and sang a new entrance to the underworld, and sang all the way to his beloved. There, he struck a deal with Hades: he could take his wife back as long as he didn't look back. They were nearly out of the underworld when a pang of doubt seized Orpheus' mind, and he looked back, causing Eurydice to get trapped back forevermore in the underworld. Racked with grief, Orpheus sang so sorrowfully the plants and animals around him withered and died. Eventually he was murdered by the Cult of Dionysus to stop his lament of death, forever reuniting him with his love.
Hades puts a twist on this myth, making Eurydice his muse, as well as separating them in death. This song is his lament of regrets and lost love; a beautiful heart-rendering piece to hear in context of the game.
