Bare Trees and the Coming of Snow (Piano Solo)
Legends Competition - Round 1
Hi all!
This is my composition for the Legends Competition, Round 1. I am up against @jm_ who is an incredibly good composer. His piece is absolutely stunning and if you haven't listened to it yet I have a link at the bottom of this description!
This piece is meant to represent the turning of Fall into Winter. The trees are bare, the animals going to hibernate. The weather starts to cool and there is a general scarcity among the wild. At the very end of this piece is the first snow of the winter. This is a relatively simple piece, but I had a lot of fun writing it and I found a lot of meaning in the simplicity of it.
