for Young Orchestra
A piece for beginning orchestra to introduce syncopation. The primary syncopated rhythm (measure 5) can be taught by rote or broken down into the micro-beat and analyzing the subdivision. Students will have fun performing these repetitive, but enjoyable grooves with sampled drums.
