Before the description go like the youtube video if you can:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-mTKJ8R8Bo Ok so, I was immediately intrigued by the flat competition this month, and glad I got warrior (even though I don't see myself like that) because I love composing in the epic orchestral style. I really experimented with synths and new instrumentation and am really happy with how it turned out (Especially the finale).
And, as you can see, this is my 1000 follower special (Shoutout to
@gabriel_ozuna, my 1000th follower). I honestly can't believe that I'm at 1000 followers, there are so many better and more deserving composers on flat. I joined flat in December 2019 to transcribe my first composed piece on piano (
https://flat.io/score/5df4210428b837571c9bc4ca-my-first-piece) and I thought it was pretty good at the time. But now looking back at it, I realize how awful it was. I guess that's a sign of growth. So, thank you to anyone who's followed me or listened to any of my pieces, it's been fun. I don't know how much longer I'll be on flat, could be two months or it could be a few years, but whatever happens I'll always be grateful to flat and the community for introducing me to my passion, something that I love so much. Kind of crazy to think that if I hadn't randomly decided to transcribe my horrible piano piece on a random Sunday afternoon, I'd have never continued to compose and I have no idea what I'd be doing instead. So again, thank you, and I hope you enjoy the song.
P.S. I had to cut down the length of this piece for the 1-3 minute rule of the competition, so I might release a 5+ minute version sometime.
