Yeah, I'm taking a break to reflect on what has happened in my life on flat for the past 2+ years.. yeah, it's been over 2 years since I found this composing app. I now have a part-time job, in which I leave my house at 10am and come back at 11pm, a new school life ahead of me in 2 months, and I have still not gotten an 88-key piano, still stuck with the 61 key slightly broken keyboard XDD
Some music related achievements I have done over the 2+ years: - Completed a set of etudes; - Published a concerto at least once; - Reach the 100 follower and 200 follower milestone; - 50 subs on my YT music channel; - Merge classical with contemporary music in one piece; - Learn new styles of composition; and finally creating my own classical/romantic style.
Achievements that I have not yet achieved after 2+ years: - Get properly featured on Flat's "featured" page, excluding the competition submission, cos that was a competition and not really like any other normal flat feature.. - COTM (Composer of the Month!) - Other flat follower milestones; - Getting a proper 88-key piano; - Actually getting a music class because I've never attended one before.. - Learning Rachmaninoff's 2nd Concerto (idk if that will ever happen) - Win a flat monthly challenge; - Get my compositions to be played professionally (if I start composing better pieces in terms of playability..)
Well yeah, those are sorta the achievements that I have in my head, the targets I would want to hit. I may have hit some of them, but some I may have not. Thank you to all 207 of you who have supported and followed me ever since I started flat around September 2020, props to you! After this break, I'll hopefully come back with new strategies to grow my following, and also acquire new composition skills as well. Au revoir!
