Ballade for Solo Piano in C-sharp major, Op. 62

This song describes the event of a boy and his lover gazing into the stars and falling asleep under a tree (while their heads are leaning against each other). They wake up on a sunny and breezy morning (the next day) to cheerful and upbeat music, and they investigate the area. They discover lively couples dancing to the polka, and the members tell them to join in. The couple (who slept that night) happily joins and has an excellent time dancing the polka. They have food and refreshments there, and no one is left out! They socialize, engage in a fun-hearted dance battle (to see who can do the polka the best), and dance the day away. Once nightfall hits, the couple says goodnight to their friends, and they retire to the same tree they slept under last time, with their heads on one another and smiling; they peacefully lull to sleep. This piece helped me through a struggle in my mind this morning, and I am so happy it's resolved. This piece may have no slurs or dynamics, but that is the beauty of it!
