I tend to jump around a lot. So, basically, I had this idea:
I'm going to write as many New Super Mario Bros songs as I can possible write. I know what you're thinking: "Hey, that's actually kind of annoying." Well, I can only do what I can do well. My first publication was "Jump Up, Superstar!" from Super Mario Odyssey, and that had a great response. I have not gotten as much feedback or return on some of my newer stuff and some of my originals, so I'm going to dial that back a bit. I want to bring back the "power of the arrangement". Some people on this platform tend to ignore arrangements because they're "easy". They are not easy if they're done right. They might, in some ways, actually be harder than writing an original piece.
So, here's the catch. I will only be submitting Mario scores if they are high-quality arrangements. I don't think you want to hear just Mario stuff out of me for a year anyway, so I will be sending out some original compositions every now and then to keep things balanced.
My main goal is to increase my following and make genuine music using the skills I have, so, whatever I have to do, it shall be done to the best of my ability from here on out. QUALITY BEFORE QUANTITY
May your music be mellifluously musical, Jonathon Snyder
