Beyond Control

Hi all

This piece started months ago, when I moved back into college. It started on the idea of forces that we can't change, things we can't stop. The progression of time, the changing of our world. Recently, we had a horrific showing of this in Florida with Hurricane Ian. The coverage and stories that have come out of Florida are devastating. This recent event made me want to complete this, and it was the thoughts behind measure 17. A chord progression and melody going wild and almost breaking out of conformity.

I spent a long time trying to perfect the articulation in this piece, along with the dynamics and layering. I truly believe this is my greatest piece to date, I hope that you would agree. A big thank you has to go to @red_productions and @the_grand_maestro who helped me fix some of these problems.
