At the start, a man is watching tv and see’s that there is a massive ant shortage and that ants are selling for 1 dollar a pop.
Measure 10: He begins to order ant queens online in order to start his own colony and sell off the worker ants for a profit
Measure 18: The colonies are beginning to form and he is starting to make some money, but he wants more…
Measure 32: He starts to do experiments on the ants, (in the drumline solo section each drum represents a different experiment)
m46: In the build-up section, the ants are starting to change: The queens are able to reproduce much faster, and the worker ants become more efficient and a bit bigger.
m55: In the groove section, the man is making huge amounts of money selling these better ants
m74: In the breakdown section/timpani solo, it is the middle of the night and the ants are in their habitat (near the sleeping man in his bed) when suddenly one starts to change: it starts growing - shedding its exoskeleton.
At measure 80, the view pans out to see that all the ants are changing growing, and developing unique features such as many legs and multiple heads
At m 89 the ants start throwing their now huge bodies at the inside of the cage trying to escape (represented by the quarter note hits)
At 93, one of the ants makes a hole in the enclosure and it is a slow-mo view of all the ants crawling out into the man's room
At 100, the man wakes up because of the ruckus and notices the ants. At first, he is just confused because he is tired but once he realizes that giant bloodthirsty ants are in his bedroom he starts to panic (all drums coming in)
110 the man is surrounded and eventually accepts his fate as the hungry ants swarm him and slowly eat him
118: the view zooms out from the man and to the entire world which is now swarmed by ants.
At 124 and 125, is from your view as you watch a giant ant quickly approaching you and then imagine it eats you so the last note is you dying
