Peurs du Noir (October 2022 Challenge)
(A Piano-Infused Nightmare Experience)
This is one of the most difficult music projects I have ever done. This music represents a note-by-note track for the short film "Peurs du Noir" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiaeIATb3do&list=PL0kYBi1Km6Fh-QORccBq_hPht-jsCN9o_&index=1)
for the October 2022 challenge.
The foundation of the piece is a droning slightly off-key piano bass upon which is added the various scenes throughout the film.
The piece uses a challenging combination of atonal progressions and "horror" type chords to build the atmosphere and suspense.
NOTE: The piece is meant to follow the film exactly. I am hoping to post a video later with this soundtrack on top of the video. If you want to follow along now, there is a short lead-in measure, and then the 2nd measure starts with the video.
