"Burning inside with fiery anger.
Fate: monstrous and empty.
Come, come, o come,
do not let me die.
Glorious; Noble.
Sephiroth."
THAT'S RIGHT
For my One-Hundred Follower Special (Thank you so much, btw) I present to you my arrangement of Final Fantasy VII's One-Winged Angel!!
This project was MASSIVE and took months of work and I hope you enjoy!
Thank you to
@Sawyer_Tucker :)
10/31/2022 update: It's baacckk
Sephiroth was announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and I heard this song in the background and developed an obsession, and began work on an arrangement shortly thereafter. The first half is mostly true to the original MIDI from 1997, but the second is more original, taking inspiration from the reunion version, the Advent Children version, the Rebirth version from the remake, and even a bit from the London Philharmonic orchestra's version. I hope you enjoy!
Performance notes (yes this is meant to be performed):
1) the band mustn't play over the choir (though it is more permissible in the more climactic/bombastic sections)
2) the dynamics are loose guidelines, mostly to help the MIDI sound nice, so take them with a grain of salt
3) the choir is split up weird; each section is split in half. Try to have your stronger of each half on the upper staff, as that's the one that sings the most
4) This is supposed to sound very destructive, demonic, or like a horror movie, depending on the section
5) if needed, the glissandos in act1 may be removed
6) if needed, the octaves on the choir may be adjusted
7) if you do perform it, video/audio record it and put it in the comments below :D
8) HAVE FUN
Again, thank you for 100 followers; it means more to me than I can express in words.
Enjoy!!!! :D
