Originally created for the November Challenge, however, I was really stupid and did not realize (until months later) that this could not qualify as it ran over the three minute mark. I'll be honest, it is a bit funny in hindsight, but it goes to show that at this point, I was still very new to the community side of flat, and before then, I never even thought about timing my music.
Nonetheless, hopefully the piece is enjoyable!
Various Revisions: - Changing the tempo (old run time was 3:20) - Adding a few breath marks for the woodwinds - Changing the vintage bass to contrabass (pizzicato) - Adding in a bit more rhythm by making most of the contrabass line quarter notes - Changing markings of the rests - Beaming the notes together (makes it easier to read in my opinion especially for piano) - Messing with various dynamics for a better listening experience - Did a small study on drums in swing and added it in (while keeping the original vibe) - Switched regular instruments to HQ - etc.
