FINALLY!!! THE JUDGEMENT DAY ALBUM IS FINISHED!!! NOW, just need to buy a vocal synth!!! I'm so excited that this chaos is finally over.
This is (obviously) the album's title track, and is by far my most orchestrated song behind Where Forever Dies. This song is the segue of 'Continuum', leading into 'Recreation, Replication, and Redemption' at the end. The plot of the music is tied with them as well.
This song is about an evil being who has killed many (1,000) and is ready to die. Before death, god-like spirits sit before him on gold thrones judging his life decisions. The setting changes to a massive sacred temple. Behind him sits a broken stone armless statue, with armor, wings, and weights on the statue's shoulders. A clock sits in front of the stone figure, counting down from 24 hours. As he stands there, unable to move he looks at the gods. They are deciding whether or not he should go to hell. The past souls he has collected are set free and haunt him during the judging process. They as well watch the ceremony of evil. The gods are deciding whether they should banish him to hell, or destroy his soul entirely. During this, he has an epiphany and looks back on his life. There is an outro dedicated to this part, but it is a spoken part. (It's at the end of the description). He is greeted with an overwhelming feeling of self-pity. Time flies by fast as before he knows it, he is neither in hell, or destroyed. He is in new life. This is where the plot of 'Recreation (that was the recreation part), Replication, and Redemption'.
Enjoy the song :D
I was a creature of the night With darkness in my heart and spite I lived to see the world in pain, And reveled in my wicked reign
I thought I held all the power But now I face my final hour The devilβs waiting, ready to pounce My fate uncertain, my soul to announce
Will I burn in the flames of hell? Or will I rise above, my soul to sell? The verdictβs out, the juryβs in Will I be saved or face eternal sin?
