Honestly, I don't think I'm great at writing jazz. It's just not my thing for the most part. But I haven't participated in a challenge in a while, so I'm forcing myself into the competition this time (happily). The title is, of course, a play on the phrase "Silver and Gold"
I actually had an idea before I wrote this and realized I'm terrible at jazz: Familiar Improvisation; where one saxophone would play a bit of "Deck the Halls" and other instruments would join in, but I couldn't fit it anywhere in my song and, again, bad at jazz. But now I'm gonna practice jazz when I feel like I should and maybe get better at it! :)
It's not a terrible piece but it's not my best, just a fun listen. Enjoy! Good luck to everyone in the competition! :)
