Summiting Mt.Baldy

The idea behind the song came after I had attended the National Leadership Seminar, a leadership training session that gathered members of the Order of the Arrow (Essentially Scouts BSA's National Honor Society) to one spot to train and learn from some of the OA's greatest national leaders. Along the way, I had gotten first hand accounts of peoples experiences at the Philmont Scout Reservation, and many stories of their awe and inspiration after summiting it's highest peak, Mt. Baldy. This piece was meant to encapsulate the feelings and emotions of the whole Philmont experience in the form of a full band score.
