Predecessor

This is a piece that I've held off for quite a long time by my standards, but finally I got time to post this.
I didn't have any specific reason to compose this - I just felt inspired to create a full band composition. I thought that it reminded me of the previous year and 2023 and nearing the end of the pandemic and so on. I think I spent somewhere around 8 hours on it. The title didn't have any different meanings behind it (I just wanted it to have some ties to the description and the piece without being too cringe)
