Hey everyone, how is it going? Today, I decided to compose my fourth polonaise for solo piano, and this one reminds me of a tyrannical march from a king. This guy is really agitated, furious, pompous, and passionate about his ideologies, and he is a jerk. He thinks everyone is beneath him, and he is the cats meow! But in reality, he is just the same as every other person.
When I think of a polonaise, I think of a military march. A great example of this composition is Frédéric Chopin's Polonaise in A major" (also known as the Military Polonaise); it is an amazing piece I recommend checking out! Polonaise's are always in 3/4 time, and this time signature resembles a march. They are fun to make, and express many emotions and thoughts!
I would love to hear what you all think, and feedback is always appreciated! Have a wonderful and blessed day, everyone, and have fun marching!
