The Haunted Path

This is a short piece developing a theme by @mz. and including a melody by @chopin_apprentice for MZ's polyrhythm competition (they are both awesome composers, do check them out!). The links to both themes are below:

For those wondering about my round 1 submission, I'll publish it soon. Being the epitome of perfectionism, I would like to make some small revisions before I publish it. I haven't been composing a lot of music recently, so it is nice to have motivation and a nice, spicy challenge like this. I hope you enjoy!
