The Kiss

This is a piece composed for the February challenge. The flute represents the feminine character in the painting while the oboe represents the masculine. At the opening the flute is just meandering around aimlessly. She is then noticed by the oboe and the "glance" motif is introduced (a descending note). The glance back and forth at each other until the make eye contact. then they flirt until the kiss at the key change (measure 18). they then part ways and the glance motif returns as they go their separate ways.
