The Conquest refers to the idea of conquering obstacles that may seem impossible. Whether it being climbing a mountain or starting a new chapter in life, we all do this at some point in our lives. At the base (or start) of a rough and rigorous challenge, preparation is needed as well as the courage to want to achieve it. When this challenge is finally underway, the conquerors discover that they must learn how to accomplish their goal through trial and error with the presence of minor impediments such as spikes, rocks, and demoralizing agents. After some time, the conquerors are relieved for a few moments but soon discover that the road that they are taking is not as easy as once first thought imaginable. Making through the bumps builds endurance and strength to push on and not give up. As the conquerors continue up the pathway, they approach a section of solace that seemingly appears to be full of reassurance. Some form of aid helps guide the conquerors for a while. While danger is still present, it isn't as much of a threat as it used to be and is surpassed with little resistance. The path seems to still be calm when an uncharted area leads the conquerors to question their abilities and sanity. It's the most arduous part of the expedition, yet the conquerors have to face it and dig deeper into themselves as well as others to do it. By identifying their obstacles and learning to overcome them through acquisition, anything can be possible if they have the strength to believe in themselves. Taking the knowledge of what they have gained, the final stretch can be completed with confidence and resilience. Reaching the peak of the journey allows for the light at the end of the tunnel to be seen. The result of this brings a sensation of relaxation, delight, and success. With the attainment reached, the act of small celebration can be held as the reward of one's conquest.
Different ensemble sections express the conflicts that the conquerors endure.
