I come to you today with the second movement of Magic Land. This is called ‘On The Adventure', but it’s not a real adventure, like in the woods, or in the desert. It is a mental and emotional adventure.
The point of view is from the little boy from movement one, who showed you into the village. This little boy was at home when he was told his mom had died. He felt so sad; nothing would cheer him up.
These are all the stages he went through during his loss: A - Loss: Loss is the first stage. He realizes all the fun times he would never get to experience with his mom. B - Recollection: Recollection is the remembrance of the good times he had with his mom. C - Pride: Pride, being the third stage, is the little boy being proud of his mother and all the work she did for the village. D - Grief: Grief is the fourth stage, where the boy is in absolute heartbreak and suffering. E - Acceptance: Acceptance is the last stage; the little boy finally realizes that his mother is gone, and there is nothing he can do.
Well, this definitely has a special meaning to me, and I hope you find it special too.
