Invention No. 18

It's been a while since I used the dotted rhythm in composition. The ending cadence in the bass comes from BWV Anh. 122's upper voice cadence in A major and is modified to suit the key of Ab minor. The cycle of fifths is involved to some degree with little room for other material to be developed. For once, I could enjoy the bass line. Enjoy this piece and happy Easter!
