Hey everyone! At long last, my new album is out on all major streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube! Enjoy "Crossroads," which was performed live this past November as the opening number of Act II of William Shakespeare's "The Tempest," which was set at Woodstock 1969. Thanks to Morgan Lindell for working with me over these past few months, to Nikhil Talwalkar, Zuzu Wood, and Violet Glynn for playing in my pit ensemble (and our many improv sessions lol), and to Studio Underground in Norwalk CT for the space, equipment, and personnel!! I'm so happy with how this studio recording has turned out.
The score you guys have in front of you is by no means a representation of what you are hearing. It's a sketch I made back in October, actually, if you can believe it. I've included it both so you have something to look at and because it's a good example of how things change! Melodic lines, tempos, timbres, and even lyrics underwent significant alteration throughout the process, and I think it's cool to see. Anyway, that's all from me! Enjoy!
P.S. I will slowly be releasing scores from the album exclusively on Flat... ;) so keep an eye out!
