Flat - A New Era - Live

So I’ve got something pretty interesting here.

Voice reveal? Sure.

Did is screw up some of the notes? Yes.

Did I forget to hit record on the best take? Obviously.


What a walk down the memories from flat over the years! I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while.

I am more than grateful for my time here, though I can’t help but feel like the community is changing and I am getting less connected as time goes on. Like I’m part of a different era of the past of flat history. Many people move on and I feel as if I keep getting older and everyone else keeps getting younger.

So many times I’ve doubted my place on this platform. Every time feeling like I don’t fit in like I used to. There was a time when people knew who I was. Who witnessed each step of progress, no matter how small.

But of course, being a part of this platform since middle school has been amazing. And it’s crazy to me how I started out as some random 7th grader having no idea I would still be here after completing my first year of college. And to everyone who was here along the way, I owe you a huge thank you. And to all the new people, you are all amazing as well and I look forward to getting to know everyone just a little more :).

While I may miss the older “generations” of the platform, you all are the right here and right now, and that’s exactly where we are.

So I use this piece to mark a new era for me on flat. One where I’ll try and get to know more of you and one where I experiment with trying new things. One where I worry less about the past and future and focus on the now and what I have. Because as much as I miss the years past, I’m happy with who I am now, who I’ve become, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
